Useless T-Shirt Fact

In 1996, Hanes sponsored the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia and the 1996 U.S. Olympic Team. As part of the sponsorship Hanes raises almost $1 million for underprivileged children in Atlanta and for UNICEF by auctioning limited edition t-shirts for 517 days.

The final t-shirt is auctioned for more than $42,000, the most expensive t-shirt ever.
